Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Provide companionship and emotional support

Requirements:
• SSCE, diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a caregiver preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Patience, compassion, and good communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move clients if needed

The Domiciliary Care Nurse provides high-quality nursing care to clients in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. This role involves clinical assessments, administering treatments, supporting care plans, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive person-centred, safe, and effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out nursing assessments and develop personalised care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and care teams.
• Administer medications, injections, wound care, catheter care, PEG feeding, and other clinical interventions as required.
• Monitor vital signs and changes in clients’ physical or mental condition and report concerns promptly.
• Provide health education and support to clients and families to promote self-care and wellness.
• Supervise and support care staff to ensure they follow correct procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Participate in case reviews, audits, and quality improvement activities.
• Uphold infection control and safeguarding standards in the home environment.
• Liaise with doctors, community health services, social workers, and other professionals involved in the client’s care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration (Nigeria)
• Previous experience in community nursing, domiciliary care, or similar home-based settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of chronic illness management, palliative care, wound care, and elderly or disability care.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively in emergencies.
Desirable:
• Training in safeguarding, manual handling, dementia care, or end-of-life care.

The Domiciliary Care Social Worker is responsible for assessing and supporting individuals living in their own homes who require care and assistance due to age, disability, illness, or social challenges. This role focuses on promoting independence, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and ensuring access to appropriate services and support in line with social work best practices and legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct holistic assessments of clients’ needs, strengths, risks, and support systems within their home environment.
• Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and care providers.
• Monitor and review care arrangements to ensure they remain appropriate and effective.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and choices, ensuring their voice is central to all decisions.
• Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, following adult protection procedures and relevant legislation
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention to individuals and families.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records under data protection and organisational policies.
• Support discharge planning from hospitals or transitions between care settings.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work and registration to practice in Nigeria

• Strong knowledge of social care legislation, safeguarding protocols, and person-centred planning.
• Excellent assessment, planning, and report-writing skills.
• High level of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and ethical practice.
• Ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
